Engineered Hardwood Flooring

Engineered Hardwood Flooring

Somerset Engineered Wood

Engineered Wood Flooring is available in planks or strips – is manufactured by using a cross-directional laminated construction in 3 to 5 layers of wood; only the top layer is real hardwood. Engineered floors are glued down, floating, or stapled down.

Somerset manufactures domestic collections from Appalachian hardwood lumber. The natural conditions that create the Appalachian Mountains’ magnificent scenery also produce some of the world’s most beautiful hardwoods. Somerset’s 1/2″ engineered flooring is supported with cross-grain construction to give you versatility in installation (install virtually anywhere in your home). With Somerset, you can install either solid or engineered flooring—or both—in your home, and only you and your contractor will know which it is.

  • Appalachian Hardwood Species
